A suburban Denver seat, CO-06 was listed as one of the most competitive seats for the 2016 cycle. It was in this incredibly unpredictable election cycle, that Mike Coffman faced strong headwinds. It was a presidential cycle, and Colorado notoriously votes more Democratic than Republican. To make matters more challenging, Coffman was sitting in a seat Obama won with 52%.

With upwards of $26M being spent on TV from all parties, the Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF) had to find a way to cut through the air traffic and make a difference. Meeting Street performed polling that equipped CLF to use their $1.5M in the best possible way to help Coffman over the finish line.

Our final data had Coffman winning by six points. On election night, he went on to win by eight, even while Hillary beat Trump in CO-06 by nine points.
