It will come as no surprise to anyone who works with us, that we love what we do and we will never turn down an opportunity to talk about our passion for polling.

Survey questions and data compilation may not be the most exciting conversation topics for everyone, but when you dig deep you see their true beauty: the ability to learn what people are really thinking. Having insight into how people feel and knowing what they want influences everything from personal relationships to business trends to political initiatives.

After 13 years of conducting the extensive State of Manufacturing survey for Enterprise Minnesota, asking hundreds of questions to thousands of people, we now delightfully find ourselves on the other side of the table. As the great Michael Scott once said, “Well, well, well, how the turntables . . .”

Enterprise Minnesota magazine, the voice of Minnesota manufacturing, put our own Rob Autry in the hot seat to “survey” (pun intended) his thoughts about the State of Manufacturing survey. Rob reveled in the chance to talk about the holistic and detailed information gleaned from the survey each year and how our techniques for polling continue to adapt with the technological advancements that change the way people communicate.
